Laundry Pole

Our home came with a clothes line, which I used to use. It’s in odd location, on the other side of the pool. I often hang garments on hangers on the edge of the ironing board. But it sometimes limits the speed with which I can do laundry, waiting for some to dry before I have room to hand the next load. And when company comes it’s in the say and unattractive. Yesterday, I decided to use the system we use for hanging garments for a garage sale. Why not use that system on the porch?

It’s not attractive, but it sure does the trick! I’m using it for the first time today. Part of the pole extends beyond the stepladders in order to distribute the weight. There is a breeze today through the porch. What a happy decision!
